This is consultation, not therapy or counseling. I identify the patterns and dynamics I see in you, your relationship, or your family — and you decide what to do with that. It draws on the same Crucible® Approach and CNT framework used in clinical work, but the aim here is forward-facing, not clinical treatment.

No. Consultation services are private-pay and aren't typically covered by insurance. That's intentional — it keeps the work focused on what you actually want to change, not a diagnosis or insurance requirement.

No. Some clients come as a couple; others come individually to work on their part of the relationship, or on themselves. Meaningful change in a relationship often starts with one person changing how they show up.

That uncertainty is a legitimate reason to start. The goal isn't to talk you into staying or convince you to go — it's to help you see the relationship and yourself clearly enough to make a decision you can stand behind.

Most couples coaching focuses on reducing conflict and teaching communication techniques. This work focuses on the underlying dynamics — your capacity to stay solid, honest, and connected under pressure. Communication tends to improve as a byproduct, not the main event.

No. I work with individuals, couples, and families — including strained or estranged adult family relationships.

No. Sessions are virtual, so you can work with me from wherever you're located. If you are in Wichita and would like to meet in person, that's also an available option.

It's the term I use for how I work: direct, honest observations about the patterns I see, offered in service of your own goals — not to assign blame, but to speak to the part of you that already wants to see things accurately.
